By participating in the Promotion, you (the Entrant) are taken to hereby agree to the terms and conditions set out below.
The Promoter is Corrs Enterprises Pty Ltd trading as Orbit Legal Resourcing ABN 15 159 476 721 of Level 25, 567 Collins Street, Melbourne (the Promoter).
Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
If there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and anything else that refers to the promotion, these terms and conditions will prevail.
Entry is open to all delegates aged 18 or over of the 2018 ACC National Conference and participants of the ACC Australia Future Leaders Mentoring Program, except employees of Corrs Enterprises Pty Ltd.
By entering the Promotion, Entrants are providing consent for the Promoter to use the entrant’s personal information to join the Promoter’s mailing list, contact the winning Entrant, and to publish the winner’s name across the Promoter’s social media channels.
The Promotion commences on Wednesday 14 November 2018 at 12:00 noon (AEST) and concludes on Friday 16 November 2018 at 12:00 noon (AEST) (the Promotion Period).
To enter the Promotion, the Entrant must complete the survey and provide their details including:
(a) Entrant’s Name
(b) Entrant’s Position
(c) Entrant’s Employer
(d) Entrant’s Email Address
Each Entrant who has entered the Promotion pursuant to clause 4 of these terms and conditions will be eligible to win the Promotion.
One Winner will be selected. The Winner will be drawn following the Promotional Period.
The Winner will be announced at the 2018 ACC National Conference and/or notified by email, and their name will be published on the Promoter’s social media channels and/or website.
The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the Promotion is final and the Promoter is under no obligation to enter into any correspondence regarding the result of the Promotion.
Any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant by a third party will be invalid, unless the entrant requires the assistance of a third party to enter due to a disability.
Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be considered valid and will not be included in the draw.
If an entry or Entrant is ineligible to win the promotion, the promoter may continue to draw entries until an eligible winning entry is drawn.
The winning entrant (the Winner) will receive one Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5” Wi-Fi 32GB tablet worth retail value of A$369.00 (the Prize).
The Prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Subject to the below, if for any reason the Winner does not take the Prize, then the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner and cash will not be award in lieu.
If the Prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
In participating in the Promotion, the Winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all activities related to the promotion, including but not limited to being photographed (Promotional Activities).
In participating in the Promotion, the Winner consents for the Promoter to use their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for a reasonable period following the promotion period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Promotion and for any of the uses stated in clause 8 of these terms and conditions
If for any reason, the Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion in its sole discretion.
Except for in the case of the Promoter’s negligence, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any personal injury, loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including but not limited to, where arising out of the following:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
(d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions or entry;
(e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant;
(f) the broadcast of any program relating to the Promotion or the publication of any material, including statements made by any person ; and/or
(g) the prize.
Unless otherwise provided in these terms and conditions, the Entrant’s personal information will not be disclosed by the Promoter to any other third party without the Entrant’s consent unless required or authorised to do so by law.
The Promoter collects personal information of entrants and the Winner, (including to notify winner and may, for this purpose, disclose such personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors and service providers). The entrant also consents to the Promoter using and handling the Entrant’s personal information as set out in its privacy policy, which can be viewed here.
